Reciprocal supervision invites us to sit in a circle rather than beneath a single 'expert.' In this model, each person brings both their wounds and their wisdom. When we admit that we're both teacher and learner, accountability becomes an act of collective love, not individual shame.
The beauty of reciprocal supervision is that you're being asked to tether each other. And we get to release hierarchy (at least for a moment) and remember that each member of the therapeutic supervision dyad had innate wisdom. |
